About Us

Hi everyone (it took a lot for me not to say y’all here!), I’m Valerie! My family and I are the behind-the-scenes coordinators of Front Yard Flock. The truth is, our family is just a flock of lighthearted, silly geese—one with a slightly drier humor than others, but he says I’m the funniest person he knows!

 

I’ve lived in Clarksville since 1st grade, and I’ll tell anyone who listens that it’s a total blessing to raise our children in my hometown. I loved growing up here, and watching the city grow and evolve brings me so much joy. We love that Clarksville keeps its small-town feel while embracing big-city momentum, and we can’t wait to get more involved and give back. Our family is a flock of silly geese, some a little bit more dried humored than others, but it comes together wonderfully! We’re interested in more silly geese to join in!

 

Honestly, that passion for connection is how Front Yard Flock was born. I love gathering people just for the sake of it—I invited our babysitter over for dinner because we all need more community in our lives! We’re on a mission to connect with other fun-loving silly geese out there, and even the ones that hide their silly goose side.

 

Whether you end up painting a concrete goose with us or not, this movement is all about building a warm, welcoming community involvement you can literally see just by looking at each other's front porches. While I can’t promise to solve every problem, I want to offer an experience that brings back sweet nostalgic memories and creates brand-new bonds.
